🎵 WELCOME BACK BASH FALL 2022 🎵

Event: Welcome Back Bash featuring KTUH

Celebrate Back-to-School with KTUH and showers of foam! Join us for free music, food, and meet a few of our Registered Independent Organizations (RIOS, or to put it simply, clubs) and UH Manoa departments. Make some friends at CCBAC's Fall 2022 Welcome Back Bash!

Concessions** will also be available for free at the event.

Students entering the dance area must wear clothing items they are comfortable getting soaked in by foam. Large bags are not permitted in the dance area. CCBAC is not responsible for any small items that may be lost or damaged during the activity.

This event is open to UH Manoa students only. Students are required to sign a liability waiver and scan their UH Manoa ID upon entry into the dance area. The student will be wrist-banded to confirm that they have signed the liability waiver and are verified as a fee-paying student.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Q: Is this event open to students at all UH campuses?
A: No, this year's Welcome Back Bash is open to UH Manoa students only.

Q: Is this event open to UH faculty/staff?
A: No, this year's Welcome Back Bash is open to UH Manoa students only.

Q: Is this event open to the public?
A: No, this year's Welcome Back Bash is open to UH Manoa students only.

Q: Do I need to purchase a ticket to enter the event?
A: No, simply show up with your UHM Student ID and your liability waiver!


Q: Do I need my UHM student ID with my liability waiver to enter the venue?
A: Yes and No. You may enter the event with your UH Manoa ID, but you must have both your UHM student ID and your liability waiver in order to enter the dance area.

Q: Can I bring food/drinks inside the venue?
A: Yes, outside food/drinks will are allowed in the venue.

Q: Are large bags/backpacks allowed in the venue?
A: Yes and No. Large bags/backpacks are allowed in the venue, but are not allowed within the dance area. Small bags such as purses are allowed in the dance area, but CCBAC is not responsible for any loss/damage that may occur within.

Q: Can I bring umbrellas and chairs inside the venue?
A: No, umbrellas and chairs are not allowed inside the venue. For a list of prohibited items, please see the list below.

UH Mānoa and organizers of the Welcome Back Bash event encourage students to promote safety and respect. All students can help model a culture where everyone's experience is valued and no one is made to feel uncomfortable. 
  • This event holds a zero-tolerance toward any kind of sexual assault or harassment.
  • Respect the personal space of others around you
  • Attend the event with a group, and within that group, have a "party buddy" who always has your back
  • If you or any of your friends experience any kind of sexual assault or harassment, you should report it immediately to security or AC Staff and know that it will be taken very seriously by security and event organizers.

  • Stay hydrated
  • Never leave your drinks unattended
  • Be aware of your surroundings (i.e., know where the closest security guards are)
  • Leave valuables in your dorm room or at home. Large bags will not be allowed entry into the dance area.

Items that jeopardize the safety, viewing, listening pleasure, or enjoyment of other attendees are prohibited. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: alcoholic beverages, coolers, weapons or firearms, fireworks, illegal substances, bullhorns, noisemakers, confetti, beach balls or other inflatable items, Frisbees, laser pointers, sticks or poles, folding chairs, stools, skateboards, rollerblades, and umbrellas.

Want to win some AC swag and memorabilia from our events? Join our AC Passport Program! Boarding passes will be available for pick-up at our AC Table during Welcome Back Bash. After the event, boarding passes will be available at CC 312.

Directions: Collect STAMPED “boarding passes” from the Executive Assistant or working AC staff member at the AC Table at every event! The first 50 students to attend four (4) events and collect four (4) boarding passes will be eligible for a gift card raffle, fast pass for Cram Jam activities, or an Aloha Bash package deal (more information to come on these events!)  All rewards are subject to change.

In addition, CCBAC will choose two (2) students from our pool of participating members every month to receive rewards such as promo items and more!
